A few more photos from Old San Juan......my obsession with old doors.    The pics are endless of our WALKING trip downtown.  These are some of the vibrant colors you see all over the city.  The detail on the balconies and around some of the windows are some of the best eye candy I have seen in my travels.  I can't wait to go back to Old San Juan......there will be more posts at a later date of all of the other photos we took of this amazing city.  I couldn't get enough!

Waking at night was even more of a joy for my husband, we never felt unsafe.  At a certain time (not sure exactly what time it was)  you start to see a police presence.  It feels like it is a little hint for you to go back to the hotel and enjoy a glass of wine or your favorite martini!  I am always up for that.  We were tired by then anyway.  My finger was sore from all of picture snapping...haha!

So if you have the chance to take a quick getaway, and not sure where to go....this is it.

Well my next post will be of my all time favorite (or was that Hawaii?)  St. Maarten!  We have been there 3 times and I can never get enough of this island.  

There are so many little spots off the beaten path that we discovered and so many people that we have gotten to know there....well you'll have to read the next post if you want a few tips about how to get the most out of this island.  so until then......happy travels!
