The Beer Drinking Pigs of St. Croix

I have to say out of all of the island excursions I have been on this is the best one ever.......My husband and I and our two friends wanted to go on an excursion that was off the beaten path. We found a great guide that was willing to take us somewhere different......he was awesome. ......hummmmm beer drinking pigs? Well. when we got there we paid $1.00 for a can of beer and went inside this little room and there were 4 pigs there just waiting for their beer! We gave them the whole beer can and they opened it up and drank it down and then spit the can out......OMG I thought the four of us would fall over from laughing so hard....it was the best thing ever. If you ever have the chance to go see the beer drinking pigs on St Croix, please go. You will have a great laugh! We were able to get a few more photo ops at the beautiful waterfall that was just up the road a bit.

I forgot to tell you about the CRUZAN RUM DISTILLERY located on the island. The rum punches are to die for! There is also a game set up on the grounds that kept my husband and our friends VERY busy. You have to get a loop onto a hook.....sounds easy, but not so much! You'll have to make sure you venture out there. Thanks to the great guide I told you about that took us off the beaten path.
