My love of rainbows.
I was looking for a picture to send to my daughter that she had taken years ago, she wanted to surprise a friend with a birthday gift of their high school graduation party......I noticed that I had so many pictures of rainbows (and this is just a sampling lol) .that I thought "why not post them" so everyone can enjoy them. It's one of those things that you really have to see for yourself, but some people go their whole lifetime and never see the beauty of a rainbow!
The first shot is one that I took in Mexico. If I hadn't of looked up when I did, it would have been a missed opportunity to take a picture. There were eight of us and no one seemed to notice the rainbow above the canopy of trees . It goes to show that you always have to be looking up. The same thing with finding weathervanes.......I have found that there is a whole world above our heads that if we only paid more attention we could capture so much beauty that is other wise missed.
If you have a chance to take a walk after a nice rain storm or things just seem "a little different" in the sky, take a minute and look for a rainbow.......there might be one there just waiting for you to discover, savor the moment....God is there.
I think that I could say the same thing about a sunrise and a sunset.... I will show some of the many beautiful ones that my husband and myself have seen in our travels, they truly are stunning! So until next time, please don't ever let a rainbow go unnoticed and unappreciated.
Happy Travels........and always look up!
