Fall Decorating

This is how I had it on Christmas one year....and the next one is  a Fall shot.

This was in my dining room too.....I filled a glass vase with corn husks that I purchased at Pottery Barn and they lasted right through fall.  I received a lot of compliments on this display.

Floating candles, with fall colored glass stones at bottom.  It looked so pretty before the candles went out.  I'm thinking I will do this again this year.

This was my other house. I'm not into country anymore, so decorating this fall should be a fun time with all of the new stuff  I'm going to buy!

Ahhhh yes....Pottery Barn Sweet Pottery Barn.  Looking for a little inspiration.

These are the little candles and goodie bags the girls from my garden club made at the house last year......I'm going to have to come up with something really clever for this year...any suggestions?

Well Fall is here!  Let the decorating begin!

This week I will be heading down to the cellar to go through all of the MANY boxes that have my fall and Halloween stuff in them.  It's a little overwhelming, because I love to decorate for the holidays and sometimes can go a little overboard.....but my company never seems to mind.

Every year I say I'm going to scale down, but I'm not really sure I can do it. Now that my decorating style is Beachy, Cottagey......it should be very interesting....can't wait to change it up.

At my other house I had a HUGE front porch......here, I have a tiny little stoop, it's so cute, but I'm really not sure what to put on it.  My imagination is in full swing......Pictures will follow in a few days and you can tell me what you think of my before and after shots.

Traveling right now is on the back burner :(  There are just to many things to do around the new house!
